Grade 9 is the beginning of the four-year cycle that leads to our external university entrance qualifications and graduation in Grade 12 with the High School Diploma, as well as the Advanced Placements® (AP®) exams. In grades 10 and 11, students can also choose to take International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) exams.
Students at ISC-Cairo have 2 options to choose from for their path to university:
U.S. High School Diploma
ISC-Cairo is accredited by: Accreditation International, Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, and the National Council for Private Schools Association (NCPSA). ISC-Cairo is also a U.S. State Department approved school, which means that the ISC-Cairo High School Diploma is recognized by colleges and universities in the U.S. as well as other countries worldwide.
Advanced Placement® (AP®) Program
The AP® program is a second option available to ISC-Cairo students. The AP® is offered by The College Board in the U.S. and is taken by almost 2.5 million students worldwide. AP® exams fulfill entrance requirements at universities in the U.S., Europe, and worldwide.
